Free drop-off and pick-up
Edinburgh's free drop-off and pick-up area is in the Long Stay car park: 30 minutes free, then £14 up to an hour. There's no shuttle bus between Long Stay and the terminal; allow about 10 minutes to walk.

Blue Badge holders and discounts
Vehicles carrying Blue Badge holders get free access to Edinburgh's car parks for one hour: press the intercom at the exit barrier and give the badge's 16-character code.
Residents of postcode districts EH4 6, EH4 8, EH12 0, EH12 9, EH28, EH29 and EH52 5 can apply for 50% off the first 10 minutes.
Where to go
From the A8 (Glasgow Road), drive along Eastfield Road following the airport signs; go straight on at the roundabout by the Moxy and DoubleTree, take the first exit at the next roundabout and continue past the control tower into the zone.
Lift or park: which is cheaper?
Being dropped off and picked up means your driver does the trip twice each way: four journeys. This adds that up using Edinburgh's own charges.
