Forgot to pay?
If it's not paid by midnight the day after, London City Airport sends a Parking Charge to the registered keeper. Stay past 10 minutes and it's a £100 enforcement charge, cut to £60 if paid within 14 days.

Free drop-off and pick-up

If you need more than 20 minutes, London City says to use the Main Stay car park. The car park is cashless; American Express isn't accepted.

Blue Badge holders can register for an exemption (10 minutes free in the drop-off area) using a Blue Badge Account. Apply at least 7 days before your visit; approval can take up to 5 days. Blue Badge holders who register can also get 60 minutes free by following signs to the Pick Up area.

Lift or park: which is cheaper?
Being dropped off and picked up means your driver does the trip twice each way: four journeys. This adds that up using London City's own charges.
15p a mile is a starting point; change it to suit your car. Parking prices change by date, so get a quote from the airport's own parking site.
